Yes, “Chicago” is still running as a Broadway musical in New York City as well as in many other productions around the world. The show premiered on Broadway in 1975 and has since become one of the longest-running musicals in Broadway history.

The story is set in the 1920s and follows two rival vaudevillian murderesses, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, as they try to gain fame and avoid conviction for their crimes. The musical features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse.

Over the years, “Chicago” has been revived several times on Broadway and has also been adapted into a hit movie in 2002, starring Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere. The show continues to be a popular and iconic part of the musical theater canon.
